The producers of upcoming movie ‘Euta Sathi 2014’ have replaced actress Sumina Ghimire by another actress, Anu Shah. According to the producer Laxman Subedi, the change was a result in a new twist in the story. Sumina had previously worked in ‘Star’, a movie in which Laxman was one of the investors.

Although the film unit claims the role of the character Sumina was supposed to do has increased and Anu was better fit for the role, there are suspicion of relationship problem with the film unit. Although Anu Shah is regularly participating in workshop, Sumina wasn’t in contact with the film unit.

The movie to be produced by Shovit Basnet and made under the banner Salon Films is going to floor by the end of the month. The script of the movie is written by Sushil Pangini, music of Tanka Budhatholi, and cinematography of Ganesh Kumar Shrestha. The movie features Salon Shrestha, John Tamang, Rista Basnet, Karishma Shrestha, Shovit Basnet, Rupa Rana, Narayan Puri and Anu Shah in main roles.

While in Hong Kong, Rekha Thapa had announced to support the backward communities like Raute and Chepang. Now, she has converted her words to deeds by meeting the members of the community and supporting them with materials of their daily needs.

To meet the people of Raute community actress Rekha Thapa had headed towards Surkhet on Friday. Rekha and the Rekha Thapa Foundation members met 52 families of Raute in remote Surkhet.  She distributed 52 sacks of rice and some money to the families of the community. The people in the Raute community appreciated Rekha for the community and told that now she has become one of the community member.

Rekha Thapa and the team are also planning to visit Dadeldhura and meet the Raute community living in the area.

On Monday, Rekha Thapa is planning to live with Raute children for 24 hours in their own residence, in jungle. Rekha is planning to adopt four Raute children to raise and support in Rekha Thapa Foundation. She is looking for kids aged 5-9 years to support and provide health and education.

Rekha is also planning to register herself as the mother of the kids to provide them with the citizenship and make them competitive in the society. Rekha has invested all  the funds collected from the screening of her movie ‘Kali‘ in Hong Kong in Rekha Thapa Foundation.

Actress Binita Baral is currently (on December 14, 2013) selling organic vegetables, she has grown herself in her farm, in a hotel in Lazimpat. Binita and the team is stationed at Trishara Hotel, located near the French Embassy.

On Saturday, Binita remains at the site from 11 AM to 2 PM.

During the premier of ‘Kali’ in Hong Kong, Rekha Thapa had announced her desire to start active participation in social work. In the event, Rekha had announce about spending some quality time with Raute children and help the children in their upbringing and education. As per the announcement, actress Rekha Thapa has headed towards Western Nepal, Surkhet on Friday, December 13. She will spend 24 hours in the area.

Rekha is planning to adopt four Raute children in her non-government organization, Rekha Thapa Foundation (RTF), for the upbringing and to provide education. Raute is a primitive community living mainly in forests in the Western Nepal. They mainly live in Surkhet and Mahendranagar area. Rekha will choose four 5 to 9 years old children to give shelter in RTF in Kathmandu.

Nepali actress Rekha Thapa has returned back to Nepal on the evening of December 10, after the successful screening of her movie ‘Kali‘ in Hong Kong.

While in Hong Kong, Rekha talked about Rekha Thapa Foundation, a non-government organization helping backward community kids. In the event she told about the plan to help kids of Raute and Chepang communities. She has started the foundation with 3 kids and she is planning to help more orphan kids. The foundation is responsible for the upbringing and education of the children under it.

She also told to register herself as the mother of one of the kids to provide him with the citizenship certificate.

After returning back to Nepal, Rekha is going to start her next movie ‘Kamala’. Commercial success of the movie she produced without the help of her ex-husband, ‘Kali’ and relatively less successful of Chhabi’s movie ‘Loafer’ has encouraged the actress to produce another movie soon.

Actress Diya Maskey is considered one of the most serious actress in Nepali movie industry. An excellent dancer, Diya, thinks acting is a form of art and likes to take challenges.

In an interview published in a weekly magazine, actress Diya Maskey has told that she considers herself as an artist and feels odd when people address her as an actress. Maskey says, "I know, the word artist has a much wider meaning and actress usually means glamour, show-off and like that. Artists however, have all of them in them." 

When she started acting, she used to think that the actresses were nothing but a glamorous item. But, after entering the field she has realized that acting is much more than that.

Dancing and Acting

Diya is considered one of the the most serious actress in Nepali movie industry. She has done memorable acting in ‘Kagbeni’, ‘Sanghuro’ and ‘Soongava’. The movie ‘Soongava’ was selected in Nepal to participate in the Oscars.

Diya is also a very serious dancer. She is a trained Kathak and Bharat Natyam dancer. She had completed Masters in Kathak dance from Allahabad University. When she was little she had danced as a child artist in Tulsi Ghimire‘s ‘Dui Thopa Aansu’. The song ‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tara le … ‘ was one of the most popular songs of the movie.

The following dance video features Diya dancing in a program at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu. The dance is choreographed by Renasha Rai, hair by Gita Poudyel and the makeup by Saroj in the event by Arihant Holidays.

Diya credits Amar Sishu School for creating interest in dancing in her early years. She credits director Anup Baral for introducing her in acting field. Diya’s upcoming movie ‘Fitkiree’, directed by Anup Baral is one of the most awaited upcoming movies.

In a television serial, ‘Dalan’ Diya was featured as an elder woman. The actress in early 20s she was featured as a typical village woman – without any glamour.

Poonam Pandey Leaked Online MMS Scandal ‘Girls Nightout House Party’

One of the most controversial babes in Bollywood Poonam Pandey once again in scandal for her latest MMS clip which has been leaked online. The clip was shot in a private party of girls nightout throughout the video we could hear the voices ‘Boss, ye tou tully (drunk) hogayee hain’.

Few hours after the leaked with on YouTube, Poonam shared her rather depressed status on the situation.

Actress Binita Baral is doing a theater play for the first time in her acting career, starting today (December 6) in Theater Village, Lazimpat. The play titled ‘Telling a Tale: Kitchen Dramas’ is about personal stories of Nepali women. In the play, gender inequalities, violence and other serious issues are said to be raised in funny way.

Binita shared a situation of the play in her Facebook profile:

The ‘Loafer’ actress Rajani KC and the team watched the movie in Kumari theater in Kathmandu on Friday. The new movie by Chhabi Raj Ojha introduces Rajani in the movie industry. 

Rajani went to watch the movie with her mother and says that it was "a life time experience".

Rajani’s introduction is being closely watched as a replacement if Rekha in Chhabi camp. The success or the failure of the movie is expected to determine if Rekha Thapa was a lucky charm of Chhabi or not. Before divorce and registration of Chhabiraj Films, Chhabi Raj Ojha used to produce movies under Rekha Films banner.

Well known producer, Chhabi Raj Ojha is releasing his new movie ‘Loafer’ on December 6, 2013. The movie poses both challenge to Chhabi in various aspects. There are a few first times attached to the movie. To name some:

‘Loafer’ :

• is the first movie by Chhabi without Rekha after their decade long relationship.
• features a new actress, Rajani KC, in lead role. In the past, Rekha used to be in lead by default.
• is the first movie under Chhabiraj Films witout any attachment with Rekha Films. (The first movie jointly by Chhabiraj Films and Rekha Films was ‘Hamesha’)
• is the first movie by Chhabi targeted to multiplex theaters.

So far, at least for the last decade, Rekha had always been by Chhabi’s side when his movies were being released. This is the first time Rekha is not with Chhabi. In fact, she has even left the country to show her movie ‘Kali‘ in Hong Kong. Although the show is in Hong Kong is scheduled for December 8, Rekha had departed 5 days earlier. Chhabi had helped Rekha’s ‘Kali’ and had postponed ‘Loafer’ release date to accommodate the release of ‘Kali’ during the Dashain holiday season. But, at the time when Chhabi releases his movie, Rekha has left country just in time to miss the big day.

In case, ‘Loafer’ didn’t do well in theater – Chhabi will have tough time explaining the reasons.

Producer Chhabi Raj Ojha is going to introduce a new actress – Shilpa Pokhrel in his upcoming movie ‘Lazza’. Chhabi announced the new movie with the announcement of the release of ‘Loafer’. 

‘Lazza’ is going to feature Aryan Sigdel, Mithila Sharma, Kiran KC, Hiuwala Gautam and Shilpa Pokhrel. The movie is being directed by Nawal Nepal, known for directing Kalyan Ghimire’s ‘Shreeman’ and ‘Mahasush’.

The movie will feature music of Chetan Sapkota, background score of Maharaj Thapa, action of Chandra Panta and choreography of Kabiraj Gahatraj.

Before the separation, Rekha Thapa used to be the only actress Chhabi used to work. Now, he seem to be changing actress in every movies. So far, Chhabi has produced/announced three movies and all three movies have different actresses. In ‘Hamesha’ he featured Rekha Thapa in leading role in the second movie ‘Loafer’  he introduced Rajani KC in and now in the third movie ‘Lazza’ he is introducing Shilpa.

Actress Neeta Dhungana has managed to get over the problem of stone in her kidney after using medicine and a lot of water.

In an earlier report, Neeta was suggested a surgery, in case the medications didn’t worked. The doctor had prescribed some medicine for the actress to dissolve/disintegrate the stone instead of performing a surgery.

The winner of the best actress award from her movie ‘Notebook’, Neeta is currently one of the busiest actresses in Nepali movie industry. She is busy in music videos, advertisements and movies.

Neeta’s movie ‘Urbashi’ was released on Nov. 30 and is currently running in theaters all over Nepal.

Actress Binita Baral participated in a rally organized to raise voice against the use of harmful pesticides in agriculture. The ‘Harmful Pesticide Free Week’ is organized by the Agricultre Minsitry of the Government of Nepal and runs from Mangsir 18 to 25 (December 3 to 10). The awareness campaign tries to create awareness to the consumers about the harmful effects of pesticides in agriculture.

In a facebook post, Binita said, we should go organic and stop using pesticides in agriculture. She adds,"Pesticides are positions not medicine." She says, we should raise our voice against the poisionous substance and live a healthy life.

Binita has started an organic farming business. Binita has been complaining about lack of publicity of her business when compared to glamour. For the first time as an artist, Binita is also doing a play starting this Friday.
