Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the load-shedding to 46.5 hours from 24.75 hours a week with effect from October 17, 2013 (Asoj 31, 2070). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to suffer due to lack of electricity for 7 hours for four days, 6.5 hours for one day and 6 hours for the remaining two days in a week.
